Amaharashi Coast (雨晴海岸) is a 3km stretch of rocky coastline on Toyama Bay, famous for views of the 3,000-meter Tateyama mountain range rising directly from the sea — a rare geographical phenomenon where high mountains appear to emerge from ocean waves with no intervening foothills. On clear days, the peaks of Mt. Tsurugi (2,999m), Mt. Tateyama (3,015m), and surrounding Alps are visible across the bay, creating one of Japan's most dramatic coastal panoramas.

The coast is dotted with distinctive rock formations including the Noto Iwa (女岩, 'Woman Rock') — a large offshore rock visible from the beach.
