有马温泉是日本最古老的温泉乡,泡汤历史自西元631年有纪录以来达1400年。小镇以两种截然不同的泉质闻名:含铁、呈褐色的金泉,以及清澈含碳酸的银泉。这两种泉名列日本三名泉。
有马位于距神户30分钟的山谷,是逃离关西都会的便利去处。小巧的镇上有传统旅馆、外汤(公共浴场)、寺院,以及贩售在地工艺与碳酸泉饮料的店家。
