The Sera plateau sits at around four hundred metres in the middle of Hiroshima, on soil that suits flowers better than most crops, and a single operator runs four separate farms across it with the seasons staggered so that something is at peak from late March to early November.

The rotation runs tulips and cherry blossom in spring, then 450,000 moss phlox and a million nemophila, then roses in early summer, then sunflowers, then dahlias into autumn. Each farm opens only for its own season and charges by how far the flowers have come, typically ¥700 to ¥1,200 for adults. Because it is a working plateau of orchards and dairies rather than a resort, the surrounding roads are worth driving as much as the fields are worth walking.

Adult admission generally ¥700–1,200 and children aged 4 to elementary school ¥300–600, varying with the flowering stage. Confirm which farm is open before travelling.
