Myoban Onsen — Yunohana Sulfur Huts

**Yunohana bath experience:** Myoban's communal bath (Myoban Onsen shared bath, ¥200) uses water heavily laden with yunohana — milky white, strong sulfur smell, acidic pH. The bath is simple (indoor pool only) but authentic. Open 6:00–22:00. **Yunooka Observatory:** A 5-minute walk uphill from the yunohana huts reaches a viewpoint over all of Beppu — the city's steam plumes visible across the urban landscape. Free access, best at dawn or sunset. **Yunohana products:** The shop sells yunohana bath salt (¥500/packet, enough for 2 home baths), yunohana soap, and sulfur-based cosmetics. The bath salt has a 3-year shelf life and makes an excellent souvenir for onsen enthusiasts.
