Sada Misaki Peninsula

Sada Misaki is a narrow peninsula extending 40km into the Bungo Channel, forming Shikoku's westernmost point. The dramatic coastline features 100-meter vertical cliffs, lighthouse viewpoints, and powerful currents where the Seto Inland Sea meets the Pacific Ocean. The peninsula's remote location and challenging access keep it uncrowded despite spectacular scenery.
Local fishing villages dot the coast, serving ultra-fresh seafood including seki-aji and seki-saba (premium mackerel and horse mackerel caught in the swift currents).
