天神地下街是一条连接天神站与天神南站、全长590公尺的地下购物街——而它以只有日本地下街才办得到的方式，散发着真正的氛围。这条1976年完工、维护得一丝不苟的地下街，设计上再现了19世纪的欧洲街道：拱形天花、温暖的琥珀灯光、石纹地板，以及巴黎精品店风格的橱窗陈列。下雨——而福冈雨量可观——在这里变得无关紧要。
