石鎚山(海拔1982公尺)是西日本最高峰,也是日本七靈山之一,作為修驗道(山岳修行)的修行道場已有超過1300年歷史。攻頂路線包含鐵鎖攀岩——固定在近乎垂直岩壁上的鋼鏈,攀登者藉此攀爬裸露的懸崖(鐵鎖旁設有階梯可繞道)。
這座山全年皆可攀登,11月至4月山頂會覆蓋積雪與結冰。山頂的石鎚神社在每年7月1日至10日的攻頂祭典期間,會迎來數千名朝聖者。
營業時間
纜車:依季節調整(通常8:30–17:00)。攻頂步道白天可通行。山頂神社全天可參拜。
公休: 攀登季節為4–11月。冬季(12–3月)須具備冰攀裝備,不適合一般遊客。纜車在惡劣天氣可能暫停營運。
門票
纜車來回¥2,000(至海拔1300公尺)。步道通行免費。山屋過夜每人¥7,000(含兩餐)。
最佳季節
5–6月新綠盛開、天空清朗。10月下旬賞楓,彩色森林與裸岩山頂形成強烈對比。避開7–8月午後雷陣雨。

全程來回攻頂:從纜車頂站起算6–8小時。僅遊纜車頂站周邊(不攻頂):1–2小時。建議預留一整天完整體驗攻頂行程。
