**Weaving demonstration schedule:** Live Hakata ori weaving demonstrations run 10:30, 13:00, and 15:30. The weavers welcome close observation and questions (interpreter available Saturdays). Watching the complex pattern emerge from hundreds of individual threads in real time is hypnotic. **Take-home craft:** A Hakata ori weaving experience (¥1,500, 45 min) lets you weave a small coaster using traditional techniques. Book at the front desk on arrival. The result is a genuinely made-in-Hakata souvenir.
