Remolinos de Naruto

Los remolinos de Naruto se forman cuando la diferencia de mareas fuerza el agua del Pacífico al mar Interior de Seto. Los vórtices alcanzan hasta 20 metros de diámetro. Se observan desde el puente de cristal Uzu no Michi o desde barcos turísticos. Las mareas más espectaculares coinciden con luna llena y nueva.

Bus: From Naruto Station, take sightseeing bus to Uzu-no-Michi (20 min, ¥310). Or from Tokushima Station, direct bus in ~50 min. Car: From Tokushima City, take Route 11 north then cross Onaruto Bridge (¥720 toll). Parking available at Uzu-no-Michi (¥500). From Osaka: Limousine bus from Osaka Namba/Umeda to Naruto (~1.5 hrs, ¥2,500). Most convenient from Kansai.
Mejor momento para visitar
Arrive 15 minutes before peak tide time. Check uzunomichi.jp for daily peak times. Spring tides (full/new moon) produce the largest whirlpools (up to 20m across).
Consejos para evitar multitudes
Japanese school groups dominate 10:00-14:00. Early morning (9:00-10:00) or late afternoon (15:00-16:00) is quieter. Neap tide days (quarter moon) produce minimal whirlpools — always check tide calendar before visiting.
