**Timing strategy:** Arrive at 10:00 opening or after 16:00 for minimal crowds. Weekend midday (12:00–15:00) sees packed corridors making viewing frustrating. The spiral path is one-way (can't backtrack), so missed photo opportunities are gone. Early entry ensures first viewing of whale shark feeding (11:00, 15:00 daily) from optimal positions. **Whale shark viewing:** The Pacific tank houses multiple whale sharks (10+ meters long) swimming alongside manta rays. Viewing from 6F (mid-depth) provides best perspective — whale sharks swim past at eye level. The 4F tunnel section (underwater perspective) is most crowded but offers upward views of whale shark undersides. Feeding time sees whale sharks swim vertically with mouths open — dramatic spectacle worth timing visit around. **Touch pool experience:** The 4F interactive pool allows touching rays, small sharks, and sea stars (手洗い mandatory before touching). The pool is child-oriented but adults appreciate tactile connection with marine life. Staff (limited English) provide guidance on gentle touching technique. Photography permitted but flash prohibited throughout aquarium (low-light photography challenging).
