Tokyo Tower (東京タワー) is a 333-meter red-and-white communications tower completed in 1958, inspired by the Eiffel Tower but 13 meters taller. The observation decks (Main Deck at 150m, Top Deck at 250m) offer views of Tokyo with the tower itself providing nostalgic mid-century aesthetics — the era when Japan rebuilt from WWII devastation into an economic powerhouse.

The tower is less about optimal views (Skytree and Metropolitan Building are superior) and more about historical significance and retro charm. The surrounding Shiba Park offers views of the tower itself against Tokyo's skyline — photographing the tower is often more rewarding than viewing from it. Standard 'Landmark Light' is warm orange (ランドマークライト, winter) or white (summer).
