The Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum (新横浜ラーメン博物館) is part food court, part cultural museum — a basement complex recreating 1958 Tokyo streetscape (the year instant ramen was invented) housing nine ramen shops representing different regional styles from across Japan. Visitors can sample multiple regional ramen varieties in one location without traveling the country: Hokkaido miso ramen, Tokyo shoyu ramen, Kyushu tonkotsu, Wakayama chukasoba, and limited-time pop-ups from regional legends.

The museum's atmosphere is carefully crafted — cobblestone streets, vintage storefronts, sunset sky painted on ceiling, and period advertising posters create Showa-era nostalgia. Each ramen shop operates as independent business maintaining authentic recipes from their home regions. The portion sizes are slightly smaller than regular shops (mini ramen option available), encouraging visitors to try multiple styles in one visit. Beyond food, the second floor houses exhibits on ramen history, noodle-making machinery, and regional variation maps.
