Gorges de Takachiho

Les gorges de Takachiho forment un défilé de basalte columnaire traversé par une rivière turquoise que l'on peut naviguer en barque à rames. La cascade Manai tombe directement dans le canyon. Selon la mythologie japonaise, c'est ici que les dieux descendirent sur Terre. Le soir, au sanctuaire de Takachiho, des danses kagura sacrées sont représentées.
