Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo

Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo is set on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, housing 1,200 animals with particular focus on flamingos — over 200 Chilean flamingos roam a large pond, creating one of Japan's most photogenic animal displays. The zoo's location provides ocean views from several exhibits and walking paths.
The zoo also features a petting area, elephant rides, and a sky-lift offering panoramic views of Miyazaki city and coastline.
