伏见是日本三大清酒产地之一,得天独厚地拥有格外柔软的地下泉水(软水),酿出圆润而细致的清酒。伏见有超过40家酒藏,许多都提供品酒与酒藏参观。区内的历史酒藏——白墙仓库倒映在柳树成荫的运河上——构成一片保存完好的江户时代町景。
月桂冠大仓纪念馆是最容易造访的酒藏博物馆,座落于一栋1909年的酒藏,展示清酒制程、发酵科学,并设品酒室供应5–6款季节清酒。
