阿波舞是德島的招牌舞蹈祭典,每年8月12日至15日舉行,吸引120萬遊客前來觀賞數千名舞者身穿色彩繽紛的浴衣,在市區遊行,隨三味線、太鼓與笛聲齊步共舞。這種舞蹈的招牌動作——高舉雙臂、拖曳步伐、旋轉——簡單到任何人都能加入。祭典的口號是:「跳舞的是傻瓜,看舞的也是傻瓜——既然都是傻瓜,不跳才吃虧!」
祭典季節之外,阿波舞會館全年提供表演(每日3至4場)與基本舞步教學工作坊。
