阿波舞是德島的招牌舞蹈祭典，每年8月12日至15日舉行，吸引120萬遊客前來觀賞數千名舞者身穿色彩繽紛的浴衣，在市區遊行，隨三味線、太鼓與笛聲齊步共舞。這種舞蹈的招牌動作——高舉雙臂、拖曳步伐、旋轉——簡單到任何人都能加入。祭典的口號是：「跳舞的是傻瓜，看舞的也是傻瓜——既然都是傻瓜，不跳才吃虧！」
祭典季節之外，阿波舞會館全年提供表演（每日3至4場）與基本舞步教學工作坊。
