角館保留了2公里長的江戶時代武家町街道,寬闊的未鋪石道路兩旁是黑色木柵欄、土牆與古老的垂枝櫻花。六座武家屋敷開放參觀,包括石黑家與青柳家,遊客可走進200年前武士居住的榻榻米房間——木架上陳列的武士盔甲、茶道用的壁龕、反映武士道簡樸精神的樸素家具。
這片街區以4月下旬的櫻花聞名,此時400年樹齡的垂枝櫻花如瀑布般垂掛粉色花朵,覆蓋在黑色柵欄之上,畫面美到令人駐足。這些櫻花是1620年武士家族在此定居時從京都移植而來。花期高峰時,街道上擠滿身穿和服的遊客與爭搶拍照位置的攝影師,花瓣如粉雪般在空中飄散。這裡極為上鏡,只要你能忍受人潮,就能得到明信片般的美景。
