**Winter Penguin Walk:** The zoo's most famous attraction is the winter penguin walk (11:00 and 14:30, November-March) — penguins waddle freely along a snow path through the zoo grounds, unrestrained, followed by crowds. King penguins participate (the large species with orange neck), marching in a loose group. Arrive 20 minutes early to secure viewing spots along the route (marked with ropes). Photography is allowed but don't touch penguins. **Summer highlights:** Polar bear feeding time (13:30) shows bears diving for fish thrown into the pool — the underwater viewing dome captures their full swimming power. Seal feeding (10:00, 12:00, 14:30) demonstrates how seals catch fish mid-water. Red panda exhibit shows these arboreal animals climbing and balancing on suspended ropes. **Visit strategy:** The zoo is built on a hillside — start at the top (polar bear, wolf exhibits) and descend.
