However, the walking path passes through atmospheric torii gates, traditional shops selling octopus crackers and seashell souvenirs, and offers better photo opportunities. Recommendation: escalator up (arrive fresh at summit), walk down (easier on knees, browse shops without rushing). **Sea Candle timing:** The observation lighthouse (江の島シーキャンドル) provides panoramic views: Shonan coast, Sagami Bay, Izu Peninsula, and Mt. Fuji (40% visibility winter mornings, check before visit).
