Garganta de Takachiho

La garganta de Takachiho es un desfiladero de basalto columnar con un río turquesa que se puede navegar en barca de remos. La cascada Manai cae directamente al cañón. Según la mitología japonesa, los dioses descendieron aquí a la Tierra. Por la noche, en el santuario Takachiho se representan danzas kagura sagradas.
