**Antique section strategy:** Antique dealers concentrate in the area behind the main street (ask for 'furumono ichi'). Competition-grade pieces (17th–18th century Arita export ware) are priced correctly but not discounted. Minor cracked or restored pieces in this section represent the best value — the repair tradition of kintsugi (gold repair) is itself considered valuable. **Best day:** April 30 (day 2) after morning restocking — dealers restock overnight. Arriving at 8:30am before the main crowds gives first access to restocked items.
