Even if you can't read Japanese, the physical presence of his handwriting is moving. The 'Ryoma's World' diorama room recreates 1860s Kyoto and Edo with miniature figures — it helps contextualize his travels and political maneuvers. **The Eight Proposals:** Ryoma's political vision, written aboard a ship in 1867, included abolishing the feudal system, establishing a parliament, and reforming the military. The proposals are displayed in translation — reading them, you realize how far ahead of his time he was. **Cliff-edge terrace:** The museum's outdoor observation deck extends over the cliff, offering a dramatic view of the Pacific.
