沖繩美麗海水族館擁有全球第二大的水槽（僅次於杜拜）——「黑潮之海」水槽容納7500立方公尺的水，養有3條鯨鯊（世界最大的魚類，可長至12公尺）與翼展6公尺的鬼蝠魟。水槽8.2×22.5公尺的壓克力板可從地板到天花板觀賞，鯨鯊在眼前的高度掠過。
水族館是海洋博公園的一部分，這座遼闊的海濱公園還有海洋文化館、熱帶夢幻中心植物園與免費海豚秀（每日5場）。整座公園值得安排一整天。

8:30–18:30（3–9月）｜8:30–17:30（10–2月）｜閉館前1小時停止入場
