**Gundam statue:** The life-size Gundam RX-78-2 statue (18 meters tall) stands outside DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. The statue is static but detailed — anime-accurate panel lines, weathering, and LED lights. Light shows occur hourly (after dark, every 30 minutes 19:00-21:00). The Gundam Cafe inside DiverCity sells themed food (¥800-1,500, mediocre quality but fun) and the Gundam Base Tokyo (official merchandise store, 7F) sells gunpla model kits (¥500-20,000+). Peak crowds: weekends 13:00-17:00. **Rainbow Bridge views:** The best view is from Odaiba Seaside Park (beach area near Daiba Station). The bridge spans 798m with suspension towers lit red/white/green/blue (changes seasonally). Sunset (18:00-19:00 summer, 16:30-17:30 winter) offers golden hour lighting with Tokyo Tower visible across the bay. The beach is artificial but clean — suitable for sitting and picnicking (alcohol allowed). Night views are romantic (couples dominate 20:00+). **TeamLab Borderless:** Now relocated to Azabudai Hills in Roppongi (see separate entry), but teamLab Planets remains in Toyosu (adjacent to Odaiba, a train). Planets is a smaller, water-based installation where visitors wade through knee-deep water. Less crowded than Borderless, equally surreal (¥3,200, 60-90 minutes, advance tickets required). **Shopping & dining:** DiverCity Tokyo Plaza (7 floors, 150+ shops), Aqua City (6 floors, food court + restaurants), and Decks Tokyo Beach (retro theme, takoyaki museum). The malls are tourist-oriented with English signage. For dining, Daiba Itchome Shotengai (台場一丁目商店街, retro 1950s-60s Japanese street recreation inside Decks) has themed restaurants (okonomiyaki, ramen, yakitori, ¥1,500-3,000).
