築地場外市場是一片300公尺的巷弄與店鋪網絡,販售生鮮海產、蔬果、廚具與熟食。批發市場(內部市場、鮪魚拍賣)已於2018年遷往豐洲,但場外市場依舊——逾400家攤商與餐廳,供應東京最新鮮的壽司、生魚片、烤海鮮、玉子燒與街頭小吃。市場很早開(5:00–6:00),高峰在7:00–10:00,許多店14:00前收攤。
這裡是庶民東京——攤商吆喝、客人挑瓜、廚師採買、遊客手拿食物穿梭窄巷。亮點包括新鮮海膽、鮪魚腹、干貝、生蠔,以及築地著名的玉子燒(甜味煎蛋卷)。氣氛熱絡、香氣四溢、美味十足。
