嵐山（嵯峨野）竹林是一條穿越數千根高聳竹幹的小徑，構成一座天然殿堂——陽光透過濃密的竹梢灑落，風動竹葉的沙沙聲營造出脫俗的氛圍。主徑從天龍寺北門延伸500公尺至大河內山莊，穿越竹林的核心。
竹幹可高達20公尺，以永續方式採收，用於茶筅、竹籃與建材等傳統工藝。這片竹林獲日本政府指定為「名勝」。
