Minoo Park
Imagen representativa — no es una fotografía de este lugar.
Minoo Park (箕面公園) is a forested valley 30 minutes from central Osaka, famous for Minoo Falls (33m waterfall) and autumn maple colors. The 2.8km paved trail follows a river through forest to the waterfall, passing restaurants, temples, and wild monkeys. The park is one of Kansai's premier autumn foliage destinations (mid-November peak).
Minoo is also known for momiji tempura (紅葉の天ぷら) — deep-fried maple leaves coated in sweet batter, sold by vendors along the trail. The combination of accessible hiking, waterfall destination, and seasonal food makes Minoo popular with Osaka families and tourists seeking nature without traveling far.
