伏見是日本三大清酒產地之一，得天獨厚地擁有格外柔軟的地下泉水（軟水），釀出圓潤而細緻的清酒。伏見有超過40家酒藏，許多都提供品酒與酒藏參觀。區內的歷史酒藏——白牆倉庫倒映在柳樹成蔭的運河上——構成一片保存完好的江戶時代町景。
月桂冠大倉紀念館是最容易造訪的酒藏博物館，座落於一棟1909年的酒藏，展示清酒製程、發酵科學，並設品酒室供應5–6款季節清酒。
